Overview

Qwen Image Edit is a dedicated image editing model offering inpainting, style transfer, and targeted object editing. Like its I2I sibling, it provides advanced controls including guidance scale and inference steps, giving you fine-grained control over the editing process.

The model accepts a source image and edit instructions, plus an optional negative prompt to exclude unwanted results. Output dimensions are configurable through preset size options, and the output format can be set to PNG or JPEG based on your needs.

Qwen Image Edit is particularly effective at inpainting tasks -- filling in or replacing specific regions of an image based on text descriptions. It understands context well, generating replacement content that matches the surrounding area in terms of lighting, perspective, and style.
